Dolphin, the much-loved Nintendo GameCube and Wii emulator, has been making strides in Android support over the past few months. It returned to the Play Store in August 2018, and a few months later, rumble emulation and other improvements were added. The latest update to the Android port has even more improvements in store, like Wii remote emulation and fixes for Android 9 Pie.
Recently, the emulation scene seems to have slowed down a bit but this week, there’s been some interesting stuff to check out. One of these is the revelation that Sony’s PlayStation Classic makes use of an open-source emulator and gives a no-frills experience and another is the release of a brand new emulator front-end!
The last 2 weeks were full of PSVita news and releases however, the emulation scene never sleeps so stuff there still kept happening. This week was quite fruitful as Atlantis, a GB/C emulator for your browser, got released, Yuzu is booting DOOM and much more happened.
